Joint officers consisting of Transportation Ministry, Jakarta Transportation Department, Army/Police conducted a raid against boat taxi in Kali Adem Pier, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

Sunda Kelapa Port Master, Hermanta acknowledged the raid is a real action over Jakarta Governor Instruction, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama to provide comfort, safety and order for passenger.
“This
time raid focuses on document completeness regarding boat licensing,” he uttered,

Hermanta
added that safety aspect is become priority hence government as supervisor will
keep conducting raid.
“The
raid done concerning license period is expired so that boat which have no
license is prohibited to pick up passenger,” he disclosed.
